We started by selling Windows-less

We started by selling Windows-less PC's a few months back, that was a success. now we're shipping machines with Lindows pre-installed and it's getting us a bunch of great press. I can't tell you what the actual sales have been but let's just say that we've been very happy with the results thus far.

As an interesting side note, in a meeting on Monday I asked our computer buyer, "Surely this company can only last as long as they're not in litigation with Microsoft over the name of the company and the interface they're building?"--it's pretty Windows-like. Well, the name Windows isn't trademarkable (is trademarkable a word?) and the interface? Well, I seem to recall a company raising a stink a while back that they were not copying the Macintosh interface when they released Windows...this is poetic justice man.
