Went to see This Film is Not Yet Rated last night at the Drafthouse Theatre in Downtown Austin last night as part of the SXSW Film Festival. The film was awesome but the theatre was as awesome. It was just named best theatre in the US by Entertainment Weekly and I see why. You sit down in comfy seats and there's a long table running in front of each row with menus, strips of paper, and pencils. Use the pencil to write down your order, place paper in metal holders, enjoy food/drink/dessert when it arrives minutes later. Pay your bill by the time credits roll and treat your host[ess] nicely. Get out at 2a.m. and feel like a lightweight because it appears everyone else is just getting started when you're ready for sleep. Also saw F*CK yesterday and way to much live music to recount. Word.
