Like shark attacks, some say that the the incidence of racist behavior on the futbol pitch is nothing new; it's just being reported on more now. It seems to matter very little if we agree that it has no place in the game. I mean really...hissing noises to simulate gas chambers for teams thought to have Jewish roots?! No, I mean really now. At this point it's normal to feel a little sick to your stomach, it proves you might just have a soul. The New York (from whence I write this...sunrise in Bryant Park...thanks Google for the free wireless) Times wrote of futbol's uglier side before the World Cup and it's associated controversy(ies) were under way.
